New band name:

Plague of Cicadas. This is based on my drive through Abbeville County and subsequent visit to North Augusta. There's a batch of 13 year cicadas infesting a large part of the state right now, and it sounds like an alien invasion from the 1950's.

Absolutely brilliant.

Another new band name came up in conversation just last night.

Shrink Wrapped Corn. I had this vision of a package of single kernels of corn that have all been carefully removed from the cob, and individually shrink wrapped. Marcia was the one who brought it up and I thought it sounded so funny, I could not resist posting.

The Ghost Peppers

For anyone who has something of a Three Stooges bent, how about "13 Knuckleheads", or "Larry By Default"? Makes perfectly good sense to me.
